Foundations of Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal™ is a comprehensive seminar which provides the practitioner/advanced student with the basics for all the other facial acupuncture protocols created by Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, L. Ac., M. S., M. M., featured in her 3-tiered Practitioner Certification Program offered through Chi-Akra Center. It is the foundation upon which everything else is built.

Participants will be introduced to safe, painless and effective protocols for renewing the face as well as the body. This course will teach the acupuncturist how to customize a facial acupuncture treatment by ascertaining the 5 Element constitution and meridian imbalances involved in the aging process of the patient.

The seminar will also include:

The history of facial acupuncture
Contraindications/benefits
The Eight Extraordinary meridians
Specific acupuncture points for face and body
Jacques Lavier’s acu-muscle facial needling techniques
An introduction to motor point needling for the neck
Kidney spirit points
Chinese physiognomy: Five Element hand and face reading
Important operational information, general rules and supplies needed for facial acupuncture treatments
A full topical herbal treatment protocol using herbal masks, creams, and essential oils, and jade rollers
The Instructor will demonstrate all techniques, and the participants will give and receive treatments

Tuition: Regular rate until April 20, 2019

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation requests must be made in writing no later than 4 weeks prior to the seminar; no refunds will be granted after that date. A $50 processing fee will be charged for any cancellations prior to that date. Any cancellations after April 7, 2019 are subject to conditions of force majeure, i.e., act of God, and the Instructor’s interpretation of the same. If the seminar is canceled, full tuition will be refunded.
